My friend used to take side jobs as a painter. Painting houses, apartment, restaurants, what have you for extra dough. The other members of the crew were a rag tag bunch of fellows, who liked their beer domestic & their jokes dirty.

Whenever they were commissioned to paint a residential bathroom, one of the crew members would go number two in it while the paint was still wet. The ungodly smell of painter guy feces would stick to the walls. So, long after the painters had come and gone, when you went into the restroom you would catch a hint of shit.

Just a hint.

That’s is the best way I can describe Almandino Quite Deluxe. Shit stuck to the wall, but it’s a newly painted pretty wall. Their own myspace says they sound ‘Like a fart, but smells good’. But if you like your artist descriptions more direct then they sound like the Cramps re-incarnated, sped up a notch & with Poison Ivy singing the bulk of the lyrics instead of Lux Interior. Oh, & Italian instead of Californian.
