The Moving Units do shows every now and again in their native L.A., I know that much. The last one I know about was 2 or so months ago at a small venue and it sold out real quick. eBay scalping went like 300% of retail. They get much love as a local band.

Blake Miller, the lead singer and half of Weird Science is very active as a DJ in the Hollywood/L.A. scene. I see him around Hollywood constantly and he’s on the bill for tomorrow’s Klaxons L.A. tour date (along with steve aoki, guns ‘n’ bombs, jason stewart/them jeans, young americans and royal rumble)

His Weird Science partner, Steve Aoki is the ownder of Dim Mak records, which released the Klaxons singles and EPs in the US.

These kids are from Doncaster, actually, not Sheffield. We played a gig with them in the UK a few months ago and are trying to set up a US tour with them later this year: The Luxxury + Neon Plastix = BFF Tour '07!
