Saw it last night at little arthouse theater in indie, art-supporting Seattle. Half the audience left, the others were laughing and trying to somehow kill the pain of this insipidly boring, near pointless film. The theme of questioning what it is to be human and what we might be willing to give up is a near universal, unfortunately it's done poorly here. Much of the indie short film stuff on youtube is better, frankly. Could have been SO MUCH BETTER. Disappointing.
  • the movie it's awesome but not for every one. it has lot's of moments with little moment, and it's a bit too arty for many people.

i saw it here in Portugal, and LOVED it.

    1. lol at Chumbawumba

    2. You reminded me how old [adult swim] is. Wow! I'm kinda new jack when it comes to this cable TV game.

    3. hometaping is just too good, always have been. I read them ALL THE TIME, so thank you 'cause you reminded me to add 'em to our blogroll.
  • @ Jared J3Concepts:

I watched all of Electroma right after I posted the trailer. I really dig it for an art film, because I do dig the art house stuff. And yes, the flame shot was impressive because it went on so long.

Some people might be surprised that THERE IS NO DAFT PUNK MUSIC in "Daft Punk's ELECTROMA". You've been warned! The music is fantastic none the less.

that one minute clip kills the whole length of Interstella 5555.
  • Yeah the Electroma movie wasnt bad. It was interesting to see something like that from them. The burning man portion at the end is cool and the choice of music too was well done.
