The most Rapture-esque band since, well, since the Rapture. Born in Washington, D.C./Brooklyn, NY under the name ‘El Guapo’ they blended a rock, pop & dance genres into a their own brand of music. The band died, or split, rather in December of 2006.
Their song ‘Miracle’ appeared on a compilation on Alt Del records released last year. The cd featured up and coming artist such as Crystal Castles, Dandi Wind, Neon Plastix & New Young Pony Club. The success of these artists has this compilation climbing the charts on Juno.
Aside from sporting a similar sound to The Rapture they’ve also been remixed by the super group as well.
