In 1999 techno/trance producer Joshua Ryan created ‘Pistolwhip’ a monster of a track that quickly became an underground classic getting plays in dark, dank warehouses around the globe. But ‘Pistolwhip’ didn’t stay underground for long. In 2001 the track was re-released on NuLife Recordings & grabbed the 29th spot on the UK pop charts it’s first week.

Since then Joshua has stayed busy releasing a slew of his own works & producing many others. I was happy to discover that Joshua is still actively producing, mostly under the handle ‘The Brothers‘ with his sibling Eric. Most recently they’ve produced !!!’s ‘Myth Takes’, Professor Murder and Radio 4.

Aside from being a production virtuoso he’s a cracker jack Dj as well and was kind enough to bestow upon us his latest mix filled with his own personal remixes & edits of some of todays best songs. Enjoy.
