Bunny Rabbit- Lovers and Crypts

bunnyrabbit Bunny Rabbit Lovers and Crypts

Upon listening to the opening track, ‘Saddle Up’, one can blindly dismiss Bunny Rabbit as being a Peaches wannabe. But give this album a patient listening ear, and NYC’s Bunny Rabbit proves that she’s a force to be reckoned with. Her voice reminds me at times of Amil (Jay-Z collaborator) and at others, Kelli Ali (Former Sneaker Pimps singer a.k.a. Kelli Dayton). The beats are all produced by Black Cracker (who also produces and collaborates with CocoRosie) and are reason enough to give ‘Lovers and Crypts’ a thorough listen.

well, i was referring to black cracker's production, not bunny rabbit's raps- being that there aren't too many female producers out there- i think she's holdin' it down!!!
