DJ Foundation - God Is Dead

dj_foundation DJ Foundation - God Is Dead

DJ Foundation has been catching a whole mess of e-flack for his latest release titled (Have They Not Heard) God Is Dead. The title track melds what seems like samples of an Islamic prayer with samples of dirty porn samples on top of an old Gary Glitter track. It has people of the Islam faith in an outrage. Here’s some choice comments left on his myspace page.

fuck u ..see u in 2009 when the army sends me after u.

On the flip side of the single is the track “I Shot You Babe” which marries Sonny & Cher’s classic with gun fire beats.

we live in a fucked up world. he’s only raising awareness. the fools always want to silence those that they don’t want to hear. if you don’t agree with the aggressors, you’re automatically the terrorist, right?

All of the quotes from critics have terrible punctuation. Not that the inteligence of a person can be determined solely based on their MySpace commentary, I’m just sayin….

Anyway, god bless DJ foundation. G-G-G-had unit!

Skillfully mixed, and I think with great potency of message, such a rare find that one of the two isn’t compromised when attempted.

Although it’s in fashion to criticise christianity, I think several other religions are open to same manner of criticism. It should be ok to make points about any of them, especially in the case of artful perspective rather than straight slander or mockery, the former inspires thought, the latter only nodding or shouting.

Thanks for uploading, I’m quite a fan of your blog!
