Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Kudu is one of, if not the hardest band to categorize. I bet record store workers all over the US are scratching their heads when a Kudu shipment comes in. This duo effortlessly combine electro, hip hop, drum & bass & dirty house stylings into one cohesive album.
Their latest release ‘Death Of The Party’ is 14 tracks of sexiness on tape. Bar Star has to be my favorite track of the bunch. The chorus is simply addicting. Fellow New Yorkers In Flagranti cooked up a PC speaker shattering remix of Bar Star as well.

‘Death of The Party’ was released in 2006 and we admittedly slept on it. Forgive us. If you too missed the Kudu train you can make amends by picking up the full length from here.
