Klaxons – As Above, So Below (Justice remix)

klaxons Klaxons As Above, So Below (Justice remix)

Too good to be true? Probably but, it has happened; UK indie rockers Klaxons have been remixed by Parisian electro producers Justice and the result is this swoon worthy track which would be criminal not to post. Listening to it I can’t help think of Michael McDonald and the old sound is proof that we still have much to learn from decades past.

See that's what happens when you paly in a disco cover band ,french, use a Juno , and are compared to D.P.

I'm feeling the SOFT ROCK (ala 1972-83) revival VIA Jusitce . More power to you dirty french men !!!
  • lets just say justice should stick with there own music rather than remix's

This Is probably the best Remix i've heard this month. WOW.
I've had it on my ipod all day whilst shopping for kicks. Genius.

I've tried, trust me, but I just can't get too excited over this tune. Not bad, but same old same old - the heavy bass/snare drum, the bass line, the let's-cut-all-high-frequencies-and-then-slowly-turn-them-back...

Am I being too critical here? Justice is still the shit though. But regarding nu disco the town isn't Paris but Olso(!) - Lindstrom, Todd Terje, Prins Thomas etc - go check some funky tunes out at eg American Athlete now!
  • Well it is good to hear something coming from Justice other than another D.A.N.C.E. remix. I am beginning to loath that song. I honestly will never put it in the dex again.
  • I love this - but I also really love Klxxxns and Justice too. I admit though, I was expecting something more epic, but then I thought about which Klaxon song they were remixing (which is kind of an awkward one, in a good way) - so for what it is, I think it's great. Again, totally biased. :] Missingtoof never misses a B-E-A-T lolllzz
  • This song is excellent to listening, not for dance.
  • Nah man i totally agree with don Simon.
I really can tell in that ZZT remix.
Remember the good ol days of Justice vs Simian.
now that was an epic remix.

old rock sounds different than new rock.
old rap sounds different from new rap.

new disco sounds different than old disco.

etc. so on. such and such. that's my personal stance on it.

wtf, how can you call this shit disco?

this is sleepy boring 4 on the floor shit.

not even comparable to fukn disco

listen to some like t-connection or larry wood, garys gang, macho, lime

just dont try calling this music disco, what-so-ever.

Justice will never lose inspiration, if anything they are just gaining more inspiration and exploring more possibilities. This song is amazing, two amazing groups.
  • She had a place in his life
He never made her think twice
As he rises to her apology
    Anybody else would surely know
    He's watching her go

But what a fool believes he sees
No wise man has the power to reason away
    What seems to be
    Is always better than nothing
    There's nothing at all
But what a fool believes he sees...

    Aye!

  • what are you talking about - this track is pure beauty! And if what you are saying is that Justice is getting tooo disco, that's the american in you talking cause paris will AAAAALWAYS be all about the disco, with no shame.
  • don Simon
I don't know, seems like them Justice has lost their inspiration a bit, ey? Or maybe my expectations on a combo like this are just too sky high...
