L.A.'s Classixx ain't nothing new, they're they same old Young Americans with the same old wicked-fresh dance music. They just had a lawsuit-inspired Jenny Jones makeover. Let's have some applause for the new style. Fresh from the beat-oven cooked up with classic Roxanne Shante sample-seasonings on 'Cold Get Ill':

These radio edits are great for all for all intents and purposes and, we're told, aren't much different from the future releases that will appear shortly on House-hero DJ Dan's record imprint Instereo. That release will be available on Beatport. Beyond that, Classixx have signed to So Sweet Records and will be dropping something fuller in '08.
I like many came to Young Americans through their awesome 2006 track, 'Turning Inside Out'. As fresh as ever:

As are these official remixes for L.A.'s electro-indie superstars, Shiny Toy Guns and LBC Indie-pop phenom Hellogoodbye:
MP3: Shiny Toy Guns – Starts with One (Young Americans Remix)
MP3: Hellogoodbye – Here (In Your Arms) (Young Americans Remix)
Classixx throw a little L.A. party every now and again called Hush Hush. It's a good time, just like the party we're supporting tonight, Fucking Awesome at Beauty Bar in Hollywood. Also on the decks is recently mentioned Surkin and Skeet Skeet.
Stop begging for more like Oliver, help yourself in our Classix / Young Americans archive where you'll hear remixes of ATL electro-king Le Castle Vania and Dim Mak rockstars Scanners.
Visit on their brand-new MySpace.
