Australian New Wavers INXS recorded their most popular, ‘I Need You Tonight’, in 1987. And here’s evidence of its long standing popularity—we’ve received not one—but two freshly cooked remixes of the track this week. One from busy BKLYN electro/rock remixers Streetlab and another from electro heads ‘cross the pond, French collective, Fisher Preyes, of which you should already be acquainted.

Michael Hutchence, rest in peace my ninja. I’m gonna watch your video on YouTube and pour out a little Shasta. One love.
But on a lighter note, I can’t in good conscience let this other Streetlab track slip by, it’s called ‘NYSound’ and it’s reppin’ the state proper. Consider this a necessary addendum.

word! the fisher preyes mix has some Fine Young Cannibals thrown in there for good measure! keep ‘em comin!
sweetness! you’ve no idea how happy you’ve made me with this post!
These remixes lose to the Static Revenger remix on the Future Retro compilation out a few years ago. Get that one up here for good measure
There’s also this Need You Tonight bootleg which is really good by “Insider Traitors” aka Andrew Phelan and Origami of SF:
