Indie darlings, Mystery Jets, have a new video and single on the cusp with a March 10th release date. The track is produced by, the man, Erol Alkan and mixed by top-talent Nick Launay. The song is sweet indie-pop with no pretensions about its intentions: This is ‘Young Love’, a playful collaboration with folksy British songstress Laura Marling.

That was weird
holly shit I’ve been trying to get my hands on that riton rerub for like a year or so…heard it in mix FOREVER AGO
hahaha it’s not as good as I remembered
justice thing sounds like kate nash
I heard it today for the 1st time and also thought Kate Nash.
Is it just my ears that are misleading me or is it that the verses sound pretty much just like the chorus of “Way Back Into Love” from the ‘Music and Lyrics’ movie?
totally sounds like ‘way back into love’!!!!
I suppose, but in “Way back into love” that phrase was the melodic equivalent of a sentence fragment. In this they have completed the melodic “phrase”. Great song by the way! I like the version without the guitar riff at the end, though; that version is on the youtube video.
