Damn, G. I overslept!!! But for real, what happened? Shooting straight, the site just cost several thousand more than it made, so I took things back to the drawing board. But we live again! Still trying to be that harder, better, faster, blogger. No posts for three months left me with a stack of jawns and bangers and ch00nz queue’d up 4 u to haz.
So how did you all take life without us? Did you run out to and get yourself a rebound blog? Was his bigger than mine? Okay, but did he do it to you better? You know he didn’t do it like I do it—look, it doesn’t matter, I just want you back! I want you to love me again. (But I really think we should go get tested).
Let me set this off proper with a little appropriate ditty from London-based ‘80/’90s R&B-meets-dance act Soul II Soul, from their very pretentious, but aptly titled debut album ‘Club Classics Vol. I’. This little gem helped bring Soul II Soul two Grammys as well as topping both the U.S. R&B and U.S. Dance charts at #1 in 1989 (what’s #1 as of today? Lady Gaga (airplay) and Mariah Carey (club). Sheit, I’ll take Soul II Soul any day). Anyone remember the video? YouTube does! Can I get a girlfriend with some shoulder-pads please?! Also can I get some remixes this year? Here, also, is the A cappella to run with:
