We’re fans and friends of L.A.’s After Midnight. They are house-rooted DJ Farron and former-Villain, Philthy B. We’ve had the pleasure of introducing them last year and are down for what they’re cookin’ up now.

What they’re cookin’ is an official remix for South Side Chicago’s Club District Allstars‘ ‘Change’, released on Textrue Recordings. Club District Allstars is the collaborative forces of major house hero CZR, protégé Vince Melo & Malik (a.k.a. one-half of The Outhere Brothers. Wow. Boom Boom anyone?). This will house you!

L.A.’s Philthy B wants to be your favorite DJ. Not long ago, the electro-phenom Villains were three—but now they are two, and Philthy B, former Villain, walks alone on this 46 minute mix, ‘It May B Durty but Luv the Jurny’. It’s similar to the skillful Villains – Vol. 1 Featuring Whiskey Pete mix we dropped on y’all last year, but this one has a little more gutter club thumping in the guts.

Also you should know, Philthy B has now teamed up with SF-come-LA electro-houser DJ Farron on the new project After Midnight. More on that in the future, but for now, dip into this. It’s some club, some electro, some dubstep, some hip hop—All good. This mixtape has been in my stacks for a minute, but the playlist isn’t spoiled. There’s dance left in it, so get dancing!
