Swiss electro-rockers Cryptonites are back at it again and go new-wave-disco on us with a melodic remix of ‘NASA’ by the UK’s Futurecop!- this is on some serious Miami Vice shit right here!
Again, to piggyback off the recent Diselboy post, which featured Kill The Noise under his Ewun guise, and taking off from tonight’s KTN performance at the massive, HARD, I’d like to share this remix that’s getting lots of play around here, favorites Cryptonites get the kill kill kill treatment. Wait for the hook:
HARD Fest tickets are available at the door for $55 with drink-til-you-blackout tix available for a resonable premium. Holland at your boy if you’re wanna slam dance in the rave pit.
Cryptonites are a pair of bang-’em-out dudes from Switzerland who’ve been collecting blog nods and spots in DJs playlists more and more over the past year for their hitting electro. Now, on their eve of their debut EP, ‘Hands of God’, let’s give the boys a full push, because this is some hype business.
We first got hipped at Hupendi Muziki, then the crew, Discodust, BigStereo and pretty much e’rybody else. Good reason, as evidenced below. Peep the O.G. production. ‘Glow’ is the new track Cryptonites just sent over, ‘Hands of God’ is the single, the rest are mo’ bangers done bang’d out over the last ~12 months.
Beyond that, the Cryptonites have recently fiddled with Swiss indie kids Love Motel’s ‘Je Pleure’. It’s just the latest in a series of good remixes (bootleg or not), others from L.A. singer/songwriter John Neilson, London clubber Russ Chimes & British indie champs Arctic Monkeys.
