The infamous Krames of Cobra Kai party crew (Richmond, Virginia) teams up with Van City’s most bangin’ party army; 1/2 Alive. As we said in our last 1/2 Alive post they they keep it’s sweatier than a the devil’s drawls in the summer. Experience the madness first hand.
Krames knows how to work a remix like no other, recently he’s remixed the French powerhouse Daft Punk, put out a jam with Purple Crush and Scottie B, mashed up Busta Rhymes and threw his take on Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s ‘Relax’ vs Glenn Frey’s ‘You Belong To The City’. Wrap your ipod’s around these.
He’s been a busy boy and if you roll to this party and your Nikes are laced up right you should be getting busy with a fly honey by the end of the night. Somebody with a bankroll bring Krames back to the bay. I got five on it.
Tonight it’s about to be on and poppin’ at Lights Down Low @ Club 222! Sleazemore has been known to bring out the big boys & he’s done it again! DJ Krames of Cobra Kai, Brooklyn electro duo Purple Crush, Richard Oh?! of Big Stereo & of course Sleazemore himself!
You guys know who they are, but how about some ish to whet your whistle for the debauchery that’s about to take place tonight?!
A mix that opens with Blonde Redhead and ends with Matt & Kim is gold in our book. Also, a DJ whose name starts with ‘K’ and ends with ‘S’ and rhymes with ‘Dames’ is down with us.
One half of party crew Cobra Kai, Krames dropped this mix on Gavin Holland’s XM Radio show called “In-deed”. Click the image to get your grimeys on this.

Damn son. This masterpiece of a mix landed in our inbox earlier this week. Krames of Cobra Kai gives you an hour long set of mash ups, remixes & cuts like you’ve never heard before. Euro Thrash was first done for Arveene & Johnny Moy’s radio show, Transmit in Dublin, Ireland. Krames does not skimp on heaters. No fluff, no filler here (click for the track list). All hail Krames for letting us fools know how it should be done.
Krames throws a ton of his personal remixes up in the joint. I know a gang of these remixes had me drooling on the keyboard. You’d better get to emailing Krames if you want to get your grubby paws on these. Or! His new CD ‘Dishwasher Safe’ is available from Paypal, iTunes & the always in the know Turntable Lab
