London’s Audio Bullys never fail! This tune is massive in the playlist. I love the Bullys because they always have A-game production and good, catchy, songwriting with signature delivery. They can do it all! The new heat is ‘Kiss The Sky’, a big room electro house stomper—and def. a mad reapeater since the Audio Bullys began giving it away free for a limited time on their site, Audiobullys.com, beginning November 30th, to drum up some hype for their third studio release, dropped on Cooking Vinyl. Only 192kbps out there so far, but still, hot damn. Punk’s not dead; Electro neither.

I love it. As I do Previous facemelters from previous releases. The love affair all began with ‘We Don’t Care’ from their debut LP, ‘Ego War’ which, personally, conjures up fond blackout drunk memories of hearing it played played literally up to three times a night at Hollywood’s club Moscow about five years back, with a young Daniel LeDisko as resident (now of LA Riots). It’s a track that’s still got life in it yet, even getting new new Jenny Jones rerub makeover in wobbly brokenbeat electronica style by Brighton/London thugs, 2 Bit Thugs.

Pryda – Muranyi, Cirez D – Tigerstyle & other various Eric Prydz related gems

Pryda is yet another alias of Swedish super producer Eric Prydz, yet this underground project is a far cry from his ‘Call On Me’ type production. The stuff he releases under the Pryda moniker is straight up classic electronic at it’s finest.

The track ‘Muranyi’ has been a long sought after track since Pryda first dropped it one of his live sets a few months back. It’s pretty progressive, slowly building up to that chiptune-esque melodic chorus which will have you pushing the repeat button like no other.

The Muranyi / Balaton 12 inch was released September 5th on Pryda’s self titled label. You’d better pick up your copy while they are still around. And if you enjoyed that gem, wrap your mouse around this unreleased diamond.

The busy man that he is, Eric has also has created finely crafted tunes as Cirez D since 2003, we posted about this alias back in April. The latest Cirez D release is titled ‘Horizons’ was released on Mouseville and the side A of the 12 contains a heater of a track called ‘Tigerstyle’.

There’s just something about this song, mayhaps it’s the floor stomping bass line and the glitchy accents, or the creamy/dreamy chorus which is from 1980 pop funkers Level 42’s classic of the same name. Whatever it is, as soon as the hook hits (around 2:30 in) I can bet you’ll be hooked as well.

Mad Repeaterz: Feist – My Moon My Man (Boys Noize remix)

I went to the bookstore the other day to purchase my monthly periodicals & laugh & people on awkward study dates. While perusing the store not only was Feist’s cd was playing over the p.a., but her mug was emblazoned on the cover of two major mags and had articles about her in at least 5 others that I saw.

Apparently Feist is poised to take over the world. If she ran for president she’d probably give the other constituents a run for other peoples money. My mom even likes her. Usually when you & one of your parental units agree on music its high time to re-evaluate your life. Feist is a rare exception to this rule.

Her track ‘My Moon My Man’ was remixed by Alex Ridha a.k.a. Boys Noize and appears on the new Kitsune Maison 4 compilation. It’s an excellent track & is this weeks Mad Repeater.

Yeah we just posted some Drop The Lime the other day & we’re posting some mo’. But we just gotsta. We’ve had the ‘Let’s Lasertag Sometime’ compilation from Tigerbeat6 for some time now, we even wrote a post on it.

But you know how you buy a shitload of cd’s and once and you give them all a few listens, then they get lost among the masses. Well, that happened with this CD. From the tracklist I knew it was gonna be an awesome comp & it is, but I was cleaning up the apartment the other day & found CD again & threw it in the stereo & I’m hooked. So this weeks Mad Repeaterz track is DTL’s Butterscotch.

The Acid Girls remixed Guns n Bombs‘ (who, if you’ve been paying attention, we can’t get enough of) hit single ‘Nothing is Getting Us Anywhere’ (Kitsune). & If you’ve heard the Acid Girls’ remix work before for you know that shit is top notch.

This is the first installment of ‘Mad Repeaterz’. It’s where we post tracks that for the life of us we just can not take out of the winamp playlist.

Paris labels Institubes & Ed Banger released a CD mixed by Orgasmic titled ‘Alors Les Filles On Fete Noel’. The track lists boasts artists from both labels which is pretty much the cream of the electro/techno crop.
