Had a fantastic weekend, how about y’all? We caught the Crystal Castles show at the Mezzanine this Saturday and, damn. They sound even more amazing live than their studio recordings. The Toxic Avenger, Frankie Chan, Lemonade & Richard Oh?! and Miss Toats held down the rest of the evening superbly.
The good times came to a screeching halt when the alarm clock went off this morning. I rolled out of bed, grabbed the first pair of slacks I could find on the floor and stumbled in to the office today. I am currently sitting at my desk crying on the inside. The voicemail light is flashing and my outlook inbox is full of unread items which I’m desperately trying to avoid. God, I wish I was still at home under the covers.
