ProCon – Delia + CD Give away!!!

procon ProCon Delia + CD Give away!!!

ProCon is an synth/punk duo from Canada who’s music is bumpin’ and who’s lyrics are filled with sex, lies & electrical tape. I posted some ProCon in the “Black Girl” post a while back. Get it if you missed it.

Since releasing their spectacular debut self-titled album on Cochon Records they’ve been busy doing remix work for some big names like Duran Duran and Mindless Self Indulgence.

If you’ve heard ProCon’s first album you know that Countess Christsmasher has a set of pipes to rival god but they decided to add a Framptom-esque vocoder effect on the vocals of ‘Delia’ and the result is nothing short of amazing. If you don’t instantly fall in love with this track then check your pulse because aside from being a beautiful song, this shit could make dead people dance.

They also sent us a bonus track to share with y’all. This one is a fun raunch-rock cut with an eighties throw-back bass line. What do you guys know about sample & hold?

MP3:  ProCon vs Mr Bigstuff – Rub and Ride (Git your Clap on RMX)

We’ve got a couple of copies of ProCon’s debut CD to giveaway to you rascals. I’ve been racking my beer addled brain for a week trying to figure out a creative way to do conduct this giveaway and have come up with this; the first 2 people to leave a comment asking for the album win! Complex, I know.

If you don’t win a copy don’t worry, you can still pick up some mp3’s on iTunes. The new album with ‘Delia’ on it should be out sometime in September. Visit ProCon on myspace to stream more tracks & for more info.

Black girls.

misskittin Black girls.

Seems like everyone’s making up genres these days. New Rave, New Grave, Rip Hop, nu-doodoo-metal. MY TURN! ‘Black Girl’. Female vocals on top of dark-electro. Not a hint of indie. Straight up electro for that ass.

Who would fall into the ‘Black Girls’ genre, you ask?
Let me lace you with some tracks.
