Born in the summer of 2007 in Portland, Jaguar Love is a new side project consisting of Johnny Whitney and Cody Votolato from The Blood Brothers and Jason Clark from Pretty Girls Make Graves. Johnny’s shrill vocals are distinct as always but the instrumentation on this project differs from previous endeavors.
This project is the sixth Blood Brothers related project. If you enjoy Jaguar Love check out previous collaborations Neon Blonde, Soiled Doves, Waxwing, Head Wound City and of course The Blood Brothers. Today is International Talk Like A Pirate Day and people are really getting into it at work. As awesome as pirates were back in the day, middle aged men and women in business casual attire calling me ‘matey’ is not cool.
I just want to hide in my cube and avoid all the tongue in cheek ‘booty’ puns. I’m sure by the end of the day the blogoshpere is going to be littered with pirates themed songs. I wasn’t going to contribute to the unholy lot, however, I’ve been dying for an excuse to post these tracks.
