Beirut, the producer/arranger from Los Angeles (not the popular indie band which shares the name, and came later), just dropped a freebie remix album, ‘The Remixes Vol. 2′, that consists of mostly hip-hop and a few R&B remix tracks. Shit is on in my deck on repeat.

The album features tracks with Lil’ Wayne, E-40, Raekwon, Nas, Ludacris, Mobb Deep, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, and grip more.

Taxes. Man. Aren’t those a bitch?

Anyways, hi. Sorry for the gap in posts, we’ve been mad busy. Between day jobs, girlfriends, beer &/or cigarettes, sometimes it’s hard to post as much as we like. Also, if you saw the site yesterday, you might’ve noticed that we were messing with the design a little bit. By next week we hope to have a completely new layout that is sleeker, loads faster & just all around more pretty. But enough talk from me. On to the goods.

Okay, the low down about email. We get a lot. And we love it. We want to post all of it, but there’s only so many hours in a day, plus some emails get lost amongst the masses. If you’ve emailed us & we haven’t gotten back to you, sorry. Email us again, chances are we were meaning to post your stuff, but it slipped through the cracks. But! Here are a few tracks that readers have sent in which we are diggin’ on.

What you know about T.I. mixed with electro beat master supreme Para One? This little number is just that. The rubber band man over Para One but with a splash of Proxy. I have had this track on repeat in the itunes for a couple days now.

Okay, damn. So, Krackpod sent in this track. Which is like all up in my alley. This is a real rough draft of the song, but I’m gonna share it with you guys anyways. It’s raw, unmastered but you can tell they had fun making it, more music should convey that. Reminds me of a modern day L’Trimm mixed with E.S.G. If these girls get a better mic, they’ll be in business.
