In case you haven’t heard Lady Tigra of L’Trimm fame is back on the scene. You all remember the 80’s electro bass classic ‘The Cars That Go Boom’. Tigra and Bunny definitely brought the bass back then & Lady Tigra is still bringing it now. I can honestly say that two decades and going solo have not affected her in one bit.
Today, we hit you off with a remix of a new Lady Tigra track remixed to hell and back by Mr. Hanh of Linkin Park & Missingtoof favorite Troublemaker. Peep the scene!
Add Lady Tigra on myspace and check out more of her fresh to death tracks. Also, add Troublemaker and Linkin Park on myspace they have some dope internet offerings as well.
“I heard the original track and knew I had to fuck with it” says Hollyrock’s Troublemaker about Justice’s Phantom. And Fuck with it he did. There’s a gaggle of remixes and re-works out there of Phantom but this one it at the top of the stack. It’s programmed like a DnB track, dark and hard as hell, with crackin’ drums, and at that friendly club tempo.
And, if you guys slept on Pump ‘n Dump - “Let’s Meat Girls” (Troublemaker side project) which we posted back in May peep the write up in Fader. Add Troublemaker on myspace and browse his tracks on imeem.
Pump ‘N Dump is a side project of L.A. vinyl hustlers Troublemaker (backyard bangers) and Mason (Haul and Mason). This is the first single and it’s out on Hollyrock.
If you recall Troublemaker won Scion & URB Magazine’s annual mixtape contest. He’s got a new mix cd posted on imeem, peep the scene. For fans of Hollertronix & Flosstradamus.
All the Bay Area heads in house will be excited to know that Troublemaker is playing at Music Machine next Saturday @ The Voodoo Lounge. It will be off the meat racks.
