Holy smokes I hate Mondays. But this Friday should be off the richter! VICTIM is June 29th. Our very own Basura, Johnatron of Disco Workout & myself supplying the dirty beats. If you are in the area and want to get on the guest list reply here or hit us up on myspace.

College radio loves Basura & he loves them back. They have been passing mono back and forth to each other for years. I’m sure you’ve heard Basura’s other mixes but he just laid down a fresh set on KSCU a couple week ago.

My VICTIM partner in crime & new Missingtoof correspondent Basura lays a nice indie/electro/disco pop mix on us. This mix is not mastered or anything, hence the name, just Basura playing around. I pretty much forced him to make a mix for me to post. But this is a little taste of what goes down at our VICTIM parties.

Basura has been djaying for ten years & currently holds two residencies (Atomic & VICTIM) with more residencies yet to be revealed. His electro/idm mixtapes were featured/reviewed in URB magazine in 2001 under his old alias ‘Abstractmode’. The February issue of SPIN magazine said “DJ Basura has turned this rock club into an electro dance haven, spinning Peaches, She Wants Revenge, and Depeche Mode for the cool kids of the South Bay”.

The next VICTIM is Saturday, March 10th @ The Blank Club (San Jose). Save the date & bring a mate! We got the infamous DJ Omar of Popscene & Leisure gracing us with his presence! Omar is THE go to guy for any big name acts coming to San Francisco. He’s DJ’ed along side of Ladytron, MIA, Lady Sovereign, & Justice to name a few.

And of course your resident DJ’s Basura & myself, Disaster will be in the heez. If you live in the bay area come enjoy our classy/trashy event. I can guarantee outstanding beats, plenty of Pabst & fast women with loose morals. Help me feed my kids.
