Glitch v1.3.04 VST!!

It’s been a minute since our last VST post, you guys are about due for another. This time we got the all mighty Glitch VST by dblue which Roppenzo from PTNOTR turned us on to. Instead of the previous VST’s we posted which help you to create sound, this bad boy right here helps you to chop it up, crush it down & destroy sounds to all hell, and back.

It’s got 9 different effects that you can sequence however and trigger whenever you like. I liken it to a virtual version Korg’s Kaos Pad.

Here’s a few samples of what this bad boy can do:

Glitch VST used on vocals: Glitch v1.3 Audio Demo - Bomb Drop

Glitch VST used on beats: Glitch v1.3 Audio Demo - Pacific

Glitch VST used on Chromeo’s “Needy Girl”: Glitch v1.3 Audio Demo - Chromeo - Needy Girl

Best of all this mug is free to all. Visit Glitch’s homepage to get your copy. All you need is halway decent computer and a VST capable host. I use Ableton. If you don’t have a VST host, you can get a free one here.

Don’t just be a music lover, be a music producer.
Make shit & send it to us!

It’s not mp3’s but it’s still music (free VST grab bag.)

Making music is a hard. I figured this out a while back & decided to knock that shit off. But all the amazing new music & artists which surfaced in 2006 motivated me to dust off my Casio sk-1 antithesizer which I had custom built, circuit bent & modded all to hell by a circuit bender in Ohio a couple years back.

Last year I also gave in to the call of Ableton Live. The program as most of you know is amazing. So small, yet so powerful. It’s a little expensive, but like with most equipment the money is well worth the investment.

But not all equipment is expensive & out of reach thanks to VST. I know some of you fools are Ableton pimps. I’m no Dr. Dre, but I have fun. Here’s some links to the VST’s I use the most. Grab these and add them to your collection.

SYNTENDO

SYNTENDO Its not mp3s but its still music (free VST grab bag.)
Virtual Synth based on the original Nintendo 2A03 APU Audio chip created by VST master Jack Dark. Download it here (lots of other free VST plugins on his site as well).

ymVST

YMvst Its not mp3s but its still music (free VST grab bag.)
ymVST is a synth based on Atari’s sound chip. It was created by Atari chip music freak, Gareth Morris (also known as gwEm). Download ymVST here.

KarmaFX Synth Modular 0.96 BETA

karmafx Its not mp3s but its still music (free VST grab bag.)
Last but not least we have the Karma FX which is beyond me why this VST is free. The amount of completely customizable parameters is insane. It would cost you a grip to have a real piece of equip that can do what this thing does. Get the Karma FX here.

These VST’s are all free, but like with mp3’s you should visit the creators page & donate or actually buy their products. The most powerful VST’s are definetly not free. Such as the Mini Moog VST or the Korg MS-20.

ms20 Its not mp3s but its still music (free VST grab bag.)
Sell some old equip on ebay & buy this bad boy here ($499.00!).

Dont have any VST capable programs? SUCKS FOR YOU!
No, kidding. Download a free VST host program here.

Even if you don’t want to make some music, try these out when you’re bored at work & have your cubicle neighbors thinking you brought your Gameboy to work.

Happy VSTing.
