I was looking at the archives the other day & I thought to myself ‘why the hell haven’t you posted ADULT. yet’?! The answer: Probably because any grammatically incorrect/misspelled write up I could muster would never really convey just how much I love this group. From the first time I heard them they changed the way I view, listen & create music.

Punk rock in it’s purest form stays as far away from ‘electronic music’ as possible but this Detroit husband & wife duo creates electronic music fused with undeniable punk rock aesthetic. This may not seem so ground breaking anymore, but when ADULT. started making music in 1998 under the moniker ‘Plasma Co.’, it definitely was.

You may find ADULT. in your local record store under ‘electro clash’ or even ‘nu-electro’, but they should be filed under ‘Pioneers’.
