If you have tried to access the site in the past two weeks chances are you have come across the most frustrating message the internet has to offer a.k.a. the ‘503 error’. The reason that error has been popping up is because Missingtoof has gotten too big for its server’s skinny leg britches!
Thanks to all of you lovely readers our traffic has almost doubled since the beginning of the month, which is a great! To accommodate all of our excellent new readers we’ve had to buy a new server. I will be downloading the whole site and re-uploading it to the spiffy new server Saturday morning. After that, 503 errors should be a thing of the past and the site and database will load amazingly fast, the transfer rate should be greatly increased as well.
So bear with us! We love you guys and wouldn’t want you to ditch us for a younger prettier blog.

@ bernt!, I’m studying analytics to see where the peoples are coming from but I don’t know! Hypem’s always a major traffic source & we got some local press but other then that, shoot. I dunno. I know google’s spider really likes the site now, maybe it’s indexing more pages? who knows, but we ain’t complainin’!

regarding the influx of traffic, i love missingtoof so much that i geek about it to all my friends (yes, all 7 of them.) but there’s that 6 degrees of seperation business… plus i told my brother and he’s a talker. i think i’m just trying to say “if you build it, they will come” and then they’ll bump wicked tunes till their eardrums rupture!
i will admit, these past couple of weeks i was getting quite upset at the dreaded 503 message, but thankfully you guys are clearing that up. it is so cool to see how much this site has grown, it seems like just yesterday the first time i came to your website, you had a few songs from namalee and the namazonz and i was just hooked, like love at first sight. the more i researched the site the mosre interested i became and youve opened my eyes to a new world of great songs and great backround info on the music you post. keep up the good work, and you will always have a faithfull visitor from me :]
