Various technical difficulties (a.k.a. hangovers) prevented us from getting the new server up and running liked we’d hoped to this weekend. We’re also dangerously close to bursting our bandwidth yet again, so we’re going to have to cool it on posting mp3’s until the switch which will happen tonight — scout’s honor.
But we can’t leave you guys hanging without any music to get your through your hellish work days, so please accept this nifty little indie/electro mixtape we made as an offering.

Hey, sorry folks, still having server woes. And If you were looking at the site at like 3:00 a.m. last night you might’ve saw that I totally broke it & spent most of the morning trying to get it back to normal!
In fact, I think I’m going to have to write a whole new layout soon! So, sorry for the not posting of musical goodness, maybe bumpsdick will have somethign nice for you guys a little later.
i’m going to go back to nerding out on the server.
if anybody is a whiz at configuring Linux servers call me!

@ robad, yep apache. linux server. the initial problem was getting root access to the server. I use putty to SSH to a linux box myself and my friend use, but this host (who shall remain nameless) tries to make accessing the root extra difficult. I was able to do that and change the php.ini so I bump up the max upload limit; the db is 5mb.
But! I installed the latest version of wordpress on the new server and the was using an older version on this server. Having upgraded WP installations before I didnt think it would be a big deal, but wordpress made some major changes this time around, so the tables in the databases didn’t match. So, I had to to upgrade the wordpress installation on this server and that’s when everything went to shit. About half of the plugins we used no longer worked!
So, I spent most of last night/ this morning just finding replacements or work arounds for the the plugins we used.
& yeah, that’s where I am now. Actually, I think I should just create a fresh layout because I hard coded some php strings into this theme to make the old plugins work and after having not poked around in the code for a while I forgot what I put in & where! Haha.
So, I guess saying server woes is kind of incorrect, it’s more like Wordpress woes.
