As you’ve probably noticed if you’ve been here recently, we’re very excited about Villains.
Who better than than three young, but experienced, audio engineers to usher in the the new era of Los Angeles and US Electro sound? You’ve heard their remix of Bloc Party and their finesse of Michael Jackson samples. So what’s next? The acid test, it seems, in this electronic music niché is the Daft Punk remix—they’re never in short supply and it seems that every would-be producer has one in their répertoire. For this benchmark of production ability, the Villains pass with flying colors, while the majority turn out as dull as alkaline.

ahh dude I can’t download from the link.
@ DJ Underpants:
You’re quick! I fixed it! Try again! There’s a little problem with our audio player, it no like apostrophes in filenames.
Thanks. It’s workin now.
Fantastic remix - they didn’t screw too much with making it fidget-y and left the parts we all love pretty much intact. Plus any reference to more cowbell is ok in my book. I’ll have a phenomenal remix of Daft Punk up on my own blog tomorrow…but there is already a Daft Punk/Bangers & Mash mash-up on there right now.

Over it. I don’t care if Boys Noize takes acid with Brian Wilson and the two together engineer a remix of “Around the World” on Hal 9000 using Justice’s sound library. The song is DONE. You might as well remix “Groove is in the Heart” or “Kiss” or something. Please god, people, leave it alone.
i for one vote for:
Boys Noize takes acid with Brian Wilson and the two together engineer a remix of “Around the World” on Hal 9000 using Justice’s sound library
but LOL @ justice’s “sound library”…
@ Dangleberry
eh.. i have to disagree.. the tension in this remix is fucking hot as shit, and when that first drop comes in after the police sirens, you would have to be a pretty jaded shit not to get out on the floor. plus, if justice remixed “groove is in the heart” i would be stoked.
I thought this was a legit remix. After those sirens I broke down in a seizure of ecstasy for several minutes and gesticulated my limbs in a rhythmic fashion. It’d be be nice if they remixed some Prince.
While I sort of agree with Dangleberry Joe, I will say this is one of the better remixes I’ve heard of the song.
I would much rather hear another remix of “Music Sounds Better With You.” Please, somebody make it happen!
Geez loving Villains, wonder if they are willing o do a remix of “Human After All” also would love to see them remix some Klaxons or (we are) Performance

@ don Simon & Monk:
The file is unexplainably missing from the server. I dunno what happened, but it should be back to normal now.
I’ve never left a comment on anything I’ve knicked (music that is!). But this remix is really good.
I hate people fucking up daft punk but this has kept the original elements and freshened it up. Good stuff!
Fucking awesome, i swear.
Good job!
