Portishead gets the super dope remix treatment from Jay Fields, better known as Exillon, one of the Bay Area’s finest electronic musicians. Over 7 minutes long, this remix is perfect for any prime time DJ set. It’s sure to have the goths, the hipster kids, and everyone in between entranced by Beth Gibbons’ mesmerizing voice and on the dancefloor in no time.
MP3: Exillon - [Portishead] Silence Remix
Peep some of Exillon’s other work at Zod and Ad Noiseam, two of the most prominent experimental electronic labels out there.
I know all the fellow P-head’s out that have already heard Portishead’s album, but make sure you buy that shit & support them when ‘Third’ officially drops! And feel free to dip in to our Portishead archives.

Missingtoof, ya keep givin’ me new reasons to love you. Good lookin’ out on the Glory Box (Mudflap Mix) in the Portishead archives.

Thanks for always doin’ it LARGE, M. Toofers!
Wow, Portishead should have ditched trip-hop two albums ago.
That Scienticians remix is part of an album length project from Noise Floor Crew. Excerpts are leaking out but it’s fucking sick

YEah, Jay’s remix is fucking KILLER! Actually, I have to say that of all the tracks I’ve downloaded lately, this one gets stuck in my head the most.
But what’s up with these portishead remix spammers?? They hit us too…
Ha! Seriously! I dunno??!
WOW.. You guys are haters..I actually like all the mixes..Including this one and I was just trying to share some info and music..
thanks a-holes..
DSTRKT…i strongly disagree.
This remix is foul. If this is one of the Bay area’s elite, that place needs to go back to school. I can’t hear anything but clashing melodies and an overuse of compression on generic electro beats and basslines.
Leave the Portishead songs alone. They were never meant to be “bangers”.
i cannot get enough of this song! thank you m.toof!
Quite derivative of what Ed Banger did a couple of years ago, no? Doesn’t sound a tad original to me, though the beat is good, you can find it done better somewhere else.
