Public: Metallica, When In Rome, & ELO Remixes + Mixtape

San Francisco native, Public (Nick Marsh) began recording/producing music with a 4-track tape deck at the age of 11. In his teens Marsh played in numerous post-hardcore bands, and in 2004 began an electronic solo project titled: “Marsh”. “Marsh” released one self-titled LP, and two EP’s during the two year span the project lasted for.

After his Marsh project & endless months of toying with samplers, drum machines, and a long list of music programs, Marsh had recorded enough solid material to birth a new project; Public. Despite the recent emergence into dance music, Public has built a large library of original and remixed tracks. Get your mouse pointers on these tracks that will make you want to dance, shake, move and perhaps even lean back.

Is the Metallica remix supposed to cut out at only 2:49? Total bummer if it is.

i guess metallica is getting a lot of retro appeal (seeing justice cover master of puppets at their shows and m.i.a. wearing their shirts in her video) its too bad its a remix of post a 1988 metallica song, but its a solid remix.

Thankfully he’s not riding on Metallicas “cool” appeal to make a killer remix. This is obvious by the fact he picked a song off of the fucking MI:2 Soundtrack. RIPPIN!

  14. Gravatar 14 favian

    haha Touché
Yes the sampled riff is hard as hell
    its on my ipod now
