After a week of downtime guess who’s back in the internet house?! That’s right, we’ve pretty much squared away all the server nonsense and we’re back in full effect. If you tried to email us last night between 8-10 and the mail bounced back it’s because we were re-configuring the mail server. Send it again!
But other than that, you’d better make some room on those ipod’s cuz we’ve got a lot of catching up to do. To quote the always relevant Fugees ‘Ready Or Not Here We Come’.

If you have tried to access the site in the past two weeks chances are you have come across the most frustrating message the internet has to offer a.k.a. the ‘503 error’. The reason that error has been popping up is because Missingtoof has gotten too big for its server’s skinny leg britches!
Thanks to all of you lovely readers our traffic has almost doubled since the beginning of the month, which is a great! To accommodate all of our excellent new readers we’ve had to buy a new server. I will be downloading the whole site and re-uploading it to the spiffy new server Saturday morning. After that, 503 errors should be a thing of the past and the site and database will load amazingly fast, the transfer rate should be greatly increased as well.
So bear with us! We love you guys and wouldn’t want you to ditch us for a younger prettier blog.
So, I don’t know if any of you guys noticed, but we now have a Missingtoof hotline. We’ve been giving the number out on myspace and what not inviting you guys to call us up, and talk dirty to us and/or tell us how much you hate your parents and things of that nature.

This weekend we went and scored ourselves another contributor and a dope one at that. Welcome Jamie O. from the ‘Sco as the newest ‘Toofer. Give her a while to get used to the set up but soon she’ll be keeping you in the musical know & verbally abusing you in the comments.
Aside from having a totally awesome haircut and knowing way more about beats than you, she really knows how to cut a rug which earned her the nickname ‘Dance Attack’ back in the day. Check the vid to see the skills.

Alright, we ditched that weak ass blogger business. Now using Wordpress which is a zillion times better. However we’re still figuring stuff out. We’re using a cookie cutter template but with some luck, redbull & cigarettes we’ll have things looking the way they are supposed to. Bare with us if shit looks busted.

Mini news update. Good friend of mine Patch from Thrudheim Radio is now an official Missing Toof correspondent. He resides in Australia & will be covering Big Day Out (peep the line up!)& keep us all posted on the awesome bands that are pouring out of the outback right now.
